AGW Alchemy; Alarmists Admit no Warming

Timothy Birdnow

The alarmists are finally admitting that we haven't had any global warming in a while.

Of course, they do their best impression of Medieval Alchemists here, arguing that emissions of sulfur is to blame for the failure to warm, rather than looking at that great thermonuclear generator in the sky. (They DO mention water vapor in the stratosphere; a natural negative feedback resulting from higher temperatures.)

Increasingly, the arguments by the Warmists are vapid; how many angels can dance on the head of a pin? Watching the twisting and squirming to explain what should be fairly obvious, to fit facts to their theory rather than their theory to the facts, should give the honest and informed observer the sense that this theory is exploded. But this has never been about science.

Warming of a fraction of a degree seems to constitute proof that we are in a planetary emergency, but the failure to warm for a time period as long as the last warming period is merely a hiccup? Of course, climatologists study atmospheric gases, and would not want their research funding going to the astronomy department, so they can never agree that solar activity has anything to do with this.

No, instead we are to believe that an increase from three to four molecules of CO2 in every ten thousand molecules of air is leading to thermogeddon.
