Chinese Proliferation in America
A Chinese company smuggled weapons into the United States aboard a government-owned ship in 1996, and this same company was granted control of the port of Long Beach in `98, according to a story in Newsmax.
This confirms a couple of things I have always suspected; that the Chinese are actively proliferating weapons and assisting our enemies, and that too many Americans have never had the good sense to believe in a threat to our security.
These weapons, according to the story, were slated to be sold to L.A. street gangs, and the smugglers said they were preparing to bring in surface-to-air missiles along with other goodies to give to the enemies of civilization.
If China was actively selling weapons to criminals in the United States, what have they been giving our terrorist friends? I`ve always believed that the Chinese have actively supported terrorism, at least through financing and technical aid.
Why, then, did the Clinton Administration give this same Chinese company management of the Port of Long Beach? (Campaign contributions, maybe?) This was the policy of ``engagement``, the idea that blue jeans and Kentucky Fried Chicken would open China to the World. This moronic idea happily assumes that the Chinese people will benefit from commerce engaged in by their government, and that they will demand a free society when they realize we don`t mean them harm. It`s hardly surprising that Clinton`s administration would accept this crazy idea, considering the Loral Aerospace deal, in which Loral taught the Chinese how to fix their satellite launches-and their ICBM`s. It`s obvious the Clinton Klan never saw a national security threat they took seriously (except, of course, talk radio and the American Spectator.)
Perhaps we need to evaluate what the Chinese have been doing with the ports they manage before going off half-cocked on this Dubai deal.

Islam is the hammer, and China will be the anvil.
In both cases, we've financed this horrid situation for years with all the oil imports and all our exporting of our manufacturing capabilities.
When are we going to stop handing our enemies the weapons to do us in?
Gee, Tim, what's the big deal? It sure looks like, according to the article you cite, that Clinton caught those chinese red-handed. And, just so you and all your friends in here know, the Loran deal was set up by father Bush, not Clinton.
I agree with Ms. Clinton on this, US ports shouldn't be sold out to foreign interests.

Sure, lots of complaints about furriners, Chinese and Arabs, but none about the worst imperialists and racists and warmongers the world has ever known, the (spit, spit) Brits.
Chinese and Arabs and some furriners (like the IRA Irish during WWII) didn't make good allies against the communists and fascists.
Why complain about the (kiss, kiss) the Brits?
Because, duh, it's the (spit, spit) Brits who've been running the ports lately.

Remember it was the (spit, spit) Brits who tried to play footsie with Hitler, selling out, as just one example, Czechoslovakia for "peace in our time."
The (spit, spit) Brits didn't honor their treaty with Poland when the Soviet Union invaded, either.
And the IRA didn't have much worry about the Germans during WWII because it had been the (spit, spit) Brits who were exterminating people, the (spit, spit) Brits who were the invading and conquering aggressors.
Granted, after the war -- LONG after the war -- the old IRA disappeared and it was Marxists who took over the name.
But at the same time, the (spit, spit) Brits were recognizing the communist government of China, selling out other nations to communists, and generally kissing the rear ends of other communist governments all over the world.

Those liberal Brits who sold out the Czechs and didn't stand up to Hitler got thrown out of office, and they are not held up today as heroes. Their policies were misguided but to be fair, they were being very mindful of the carnage from the previous war (for the ignorant, that was WWI). Churchill had the larger vision and in time was able to convince the whole nation of it. Britain then rose to the occasion to fight and defeat Hitler, while Ireland sat on the sidelines. Germany and Ireland were great friends during this time.
The liberals in England today, like "Red" Ken are again the ones most responsible for kissing up to the Communists, just as they did for both the communists and Nazis during the 1930s. But is all England commie pinko because some of her politicians are extreme left-wing, disingenuous and sell-outs (like some here)? That maybe one has to question the defeatist liberal agenda wherever it appears?
Meanwhile, the IRA provided aid and comfort to the Nazi enemy whenever possible, supplying to the Germans many agents that infilitrated England during WWII. That's must worse than a short-sighted, ignorant politician like Neville Chamberlain. Why trust them with anything?
