Too Many Trees Blocking The Forest

This article at Tech Central Station is a model of myopic thinking, and exemplifies everything that is wrong with the views held by those who don`t see illegal immigration as a big deal.

The real issue here has gone completely over this writer`s head; we have multiple problems, all of which stem from the same source. Illegal immigration, the problems with the Chinese, and Islamic terrorism are all products of Western decline. America and Europe are decadent and sinking. Thanks to Liberalism we have lost faith in our culture, our institutions, our heritage. We no longer believe in defending ourselves. We have a moral and spiritual vacuum, and our enemies prosper not because they are strong, but because we are weak. Nature abhorrs a vacuum, and others are stepping in to fill the seat which we have abdicated. Illegal immigration is every bit as dangerous to our long-term survival as Islamism; both seek to displace us. Islamism may be the more aggressive, but the end results will be the same.

We need to understand that, or we will join the ranks of the many peoples who have disappeared from history; the Illyriums, the Ainu, the Etruscans, the Beothuk, etc.
We needn`t go out with a Jihadist bang; we may well pass with a child`s whimper.
