Mexican Documentation

If anyone doubts that the flood of illegal invaders (courtesy of the Mexican government) threatens our national security, this piece in the Federalist should dispel any disbelief:

How safe is our homeland? If the headquarters of the Department of Homeland Security is any indication, not as safe as it should be. Bruce DeCell, a retired New York City policeman, used a Mexican-issued "matricula consular" card to enter the building despite the fact that the U.S. government does not recognize the card as legitimate identification. The policeman had arranged to meet with DHS officials to discuss inadequate document security, and used the ruse to prove the point. He obtained the card from a friend in California who had it made using a passport photo. Mexican consulates issue the matricula cards to nationals living here illegally, and they can be used at banks and other institutions, though not in federal buildings. We only hope this raises sufficient flags for those charged with defending our homeland.
