Liberal Denial Industry

Liberals lie; it`s who they are and what they do. They lie to others to get what they want, and lie to themselves to hide unpleasant truths. Their problem is that they have adopted a worldview which excludes objective reality, which means that if you lie it can be so, since one reality is as real as another. The idea that there is a God upon whom reality is based was rejected long ago by liberals, and so Man defines the nature and validity of experiential phonomena i.e. if you click your heels together three times and say ``there`s no place like home`` you will be home. Don`t bother with the small detail that you aren`t home; just believe and it will be so.

Because of this psychological quirk, liberals don`t think they are liars. They are so pathological in their denials of the truth that they don`t even realize how far outside of reality they have slipped.

Expecting honesty from a lib is like expecting tenderness from a crocodile.

That is why it should come as no surprise that the recent Abortion Fetal Pain Bill was voted down; not because it was a bad piece of legislation but because opponents used a bogus study to deny that the unborn feel pain.

The lead authors of the study were Susan J. Lee, a medical student and former NARAL member, and Eleanor Drey (why do feminists and pro-aborts always go by eleanor?), director of the abortion center at (where else) San Francisco General. Neither of these women have any practical or research experience involving fetal pain.

In rebuttal to the study:

Neurologist Dr. Paul Ranalli of the University of Toronto also commented on the report saying the 20-30 week child in the womb may even feel more pain than an adult. He adds that the "pain impulse connections in the spinal cord link up and reach the thalamus (the brain's reception center): at 7-20 weeks."

Yet Democrats used this junk science as they use numerous pseudo science such as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to push a purely political agenda. They can sleep well at nights, despite considerable evidence that abortions are causing great pain because they can simply accept what this med student and abortionist say, as it is what they wish to believe. Reality is plastic, and can be shaped by our will.

I beg to differ, but we aren`t God and reality is something that, as Phillip K. Dick once said, won`t go away if we stop believing in it. Yet increasingly we see science being perverted to the political ends of the Left. This started with Freud, Marx, and Darwin, and has metastasized into the enormous (and profitable) industry of Climate Change, for example. Public policy is driven by pseudo-science, and the Left will use ever means at their disposal to get what they want-which is a world designed to revolve around their every want and lust. They have succeeded here today.

Plato once spoke of people imprisoned in a cave, while watching a show move across their field of view and believing that this is reality. He argues that should one of their member escape they would despise and kill him for shattering their illusions. Liberals are like these prisoners, and they hate those who dare shatter their illusions with the truth.

That`s why they hate conservatives and George Bush so much; we shatter their happy delusions.

The time will come when the bile we have sewn will come to maturation, and the harvest will be bitter. Where will liberal illusions take them then? That`s the trouble with lying to yourself; it all comes crashing down in the end.
