You should definitely check out the commenters, many of whom think it's the real thing.
Very funny -- but not too far from the mark. On NRO somewhere today, I read an article about Miers which recounted her saying that as she worked in the White House she would sometimes just say to herself something like - "Oh, my - here I am" -- hmm -- sounds a bit star-struck and prone to being taken in by all the attention that's going to come her way once she's on the court. Also there were some quotes somewhere from an online "chat" with Miers that the White House did a while back, and it reads not unlike this parody.
