The End of Infamy
The end draws nigh for Antenoran professor psych-Ward Churchill. His reign of infamy may soon pass.
From the Federalist Patriot:
Well, the end has almost arrived for Ward Churchill, the University of Colorado professor who raised the ire of Patriots everywhere with his comments about the victims of 9/11 being "little Eichmanns." The University's chancellor has notified Churchill that he will be terminated, though the professor can still appeal to the privilege and tenure committee. Aside from his ill-considered remarks (which he stands by), Churchill has plagiarized, falsified and fabricated research while also falsely claiming to be American Indian—these are the stated reasons for his termination. His lawyer, David Lane, claims, "They've been looking for a year and a half for enough window dressing so that when they fire him in retaliation for his speech, it will have the appearance of legitimacy." There's something inherently funny about a liberal professor claiming to be persecuted on a university campus.
