Teaching Death to Children
Parents no longer have any rights over what their children are taught in public schools-at least in Massachusetts.
Not so long ago homosexuality was considered by medical professionals a mental disorder and perversion akin to pedophilia, bestiality, or necrophilia, and it is still considered immoral by many. In a little over a generation we have completely altered our perception of this very destructive behavior, and now the Left is demanding that children be taught it is an acceptable ``lifestyle choice`` over the objections of their parents.
Homosexuality is terribly destructive both physically and emotionally. AIDS is only the most notorious of conditions which afflict gay people; they suffer from all the traditional venereal diseases such as syphilis, gonhorrea chlamydia, hepatitis,HPV, etc. at a much higher rate (do to far greater promiscuity and a more physically damaging lifestyle), they have a plethora of unique disorders such as ``gay bowel disease``, a condition caused by the entry of a parasite through fissures in male homosexuals rectums (a result of repeated tearing) causing chronic diarrhea, They suffer from depression at a far higher rate than the general populace, are much more likely to abuse drugs and alcohol. Homosexuals tend to die young, with an average life-expectancy in the 40`s. Suicide is rampant, it must be added.
The Left would demand government intervention if this were a Christian sect suffering from such rampant disease and mortality; indeed, non political groups concerned with public health would demand a Congressional panel to recommend ways to reduce this epidemic-like mortality rate. Since ``gay rights`` is one of the cornerstones of the liberal agenda, and a heavy contributor to the Democrat Party, the consequences of this behavior is swept under the rug.
Discouraging homosexuality is not a matter of promoting hatred or fear, but rather an act of kindness and mercy; these people are the walking dead. It`s the same impulse which motivates someone to throw a rope to a drowning man. These people are drowning, whether they know it or not. We discourage alcoholism, and the Courts often make alcoholics enter rehab for their own good. Yet homosexuality is a lifestyle choice we either ignore, or even promote.
I understand the arguments; they claim they were born that way, and this is natural for them. (interestingly they call themselves ``queer`` suggesting they know deep down there is something not quite right.) Be that as it may, it is natural for men (and women) to be attracted to and consummate that attraction with those who are not their wives or husbands, and yet it is entirely possible to remain faithful to a spouse. This is a choice. We are not animals, we have control over our own behavior. It might be unfair, it might be tough, but it can be done, and has been done through human history.
But homosexuals do not have a sexual outlet, we are told! What are they supposed to do? The fact is, and we all have experience with this, sexuality is a fire rather than a pressure; the more fuel you put on it, the more your appetite grows. Obsession with sex breeds more obsession. The key to sexual self-control is to put your lusts aside, to concentrate on other things. It can be done, and it has been done in the past. There is no reason to believe that homosexual people are not able to restrain their desires.
How many latent pedophiles walk this Earth? They have desires they know are wrong, and simply do not entertain them. How many people with any off-kilter sexual urge, such as bestiality, necrophilia, sexual cannibalism? Yet many of these people simply say no to these bizarre tendencies.
But homosexuality is a political tool, something to destroy our Judeo-Christian heritage. Now Massachusetts is demanding the right to teach children that it is a viable alternative, something perfectly acceptable. Parents are being told that what their own children are being taught is of no concern of theirs.
Fine! If educrats are going to shove their leftist propaganda down our throats, let them at least tell the entire story; how about passing a bill requiring that the terrible health affects of homosexuality be taught as well? Tell kids they will die in their 40`s, that they are committing suicide if they enter into that lifestyle. The Left loves sex education, so let`s give children both barrels!
Of course, that won`t happen. The Left is unbearably cruel.

Ever thought that the depression comes from people like you? How would you feel if people kept on telling you that it was immoral and a mental disorder to be heterosexual? That you don't deserve the live the way homosexuals do? STIs are not sexual orientation specific. You claim that there is a "gay bowel disease" because the gay men have their rectum infected. How many heterosexual women have this disease as well for having anal sex?
As for the low life expectancy...how long would you expect to live when you are repeatedly attacked? Sometimes those attacks being more severe than the last. And as for chosing to be gay, does that mean you decided to be straight? How do you know you are really straight if you haven't had any homosexual relationships?
And why do you care if the LGBT community adds on a Q for queer? Do you go around telling other people not to label themselves?

Dear Anonymous: Take a breath. And perhaps then could deal with Tim’s logic rather than writing in such a vulgar manner. Your arguments---such as they are---are riddled with irrationality. To answer them would waste your time and mine.
You might consider why males who practice sodomy live fewer years than a male elephant in a zoo. Hmm...perhaps there is something that Carpenter said about the wages of sin is death.
That habit you praise is perhaps the filthiest possible activity imaginable between two human beings. It is even more degraded than bestiality, because the humans have a choice. But then, I would imagine that you can conjure up a defense of that as well.

Your point about depression coming from ``people like me`` just doesn`t hold water. First, I should point out that I took pains not to condemn or insult, but merely pointed out the serious consequences of homosexual behavior. By your reasoning, those who aren`t accepted as normal are somehow made to suffer depression, alcoholism, drug addiction, and suicide. I would like to point out that the Jews have historically been treated far worse than homosexuals in modern America, yet have not been burdened with these problems. Nor have Christians, who have been in the past and are currently being persecuted. I would suggest to you that the emotional anguish comes from living a dissolute and rebellious lifestyle. As to how many women have ``gay bowel disease``? Few (why else call it by that moniker?) Why? Because the incidents of heterosexual anal sex is but a liliputian fraction of that of homosexuals. It`s a matter of regularly engaging in this dangerous practice. There are much worse practices I would rather not go into, such as the use of live animals, or the insertion of a hand and wrist in a place never intended for such. Do you mean to tell me that you see nothing wrong with these practices?
Why are AIDS cases so very much higher among homosexuals than heteros? Because homosexuals are far more promiscuous, and are therefore exposed repeatedly to the HIV virus. If you want to dance you have to pay the piper, anonymous; the gay community revels in this. Just ask any sanitation worker what he finds after a gay pride parade; they`re picking up used condoms for weeks. Why don`t they find these things after the St. Patricks Day Parade, say?
As for choosing to be gay-you guys can`t have it both ways; when it is suggested that homosexuality be considered a medical condition you protest, saying you choose your lifestyle. When people then put moral blame on choosing a degenerate lifestyle you claim you were born that way. Which is it? It`s easy to argue that a ``gay gene`` should have long since bred itself out of the human gene-pool; it discourages reproduction. If it is a medical anomalie then it should be treated as such.
I hate suicide, but feel sorrow for the person who commits this violence against himself. I do not disapprove of the person, but the act. Homosexuality is much the same, except homosexuals themselves have insisted on making the practice indivisible from the person. The ``gay lifestyle`` is a conscious choice, a choice to follow a horribly destructive path. It is physically, emotionally, and spiritually destructive, yet any attempt to suggest a better way is automatically an ``attack`` since the homosexual has wedded themselves to a lifestyle and identity which is derived solely by what they do. I happen to like to eat pasta, but I don`t derive my identity from it. What makes homosexuality different?
It`s a deadly choice, a choice to make a god of yourself at the expense of your body. The gay lifestyle is about rebellion as much as sex, about the insistence on gratifying your personal desires and hang the consequences. As I said, it is a fancy way to commit suicide.
Don`t believe me? Why do some gay men rejoice when they test positive for HIV? It happens all the time. They are happy because they have passed the trials, proven their mettle as true members of the movement. Most people would be appalled by such a diagnosis, yet many homosexuals are proud of their ``accomplishment``. Does that sound rational to you?
Society has a great interest in minimizing homosexuality; far more than a desire for procreation. Gay sex is inordinately dangerous, and morally destructive. Societies which accept homosexuality (and other libertine practices)tend to collapse. It really doesn`t matter which comes first, the chicken or the egg; the acceptance of homosexuality is a harbringer of doom. We need to discourage this behavior as much as possible.
It`s odd how the health Nazis find it reasonable to restrict smoking, drinking, eating fattening foods, etc. yet aren`t at all concerned with discouraging an atrociously unhealthy lifestyle. You may say that your sex life is nobody`s business. Fine. Quit trying to cram it down everybody`s throats, if that is how you feel. Stop gay pride parades. Stop high-heeled drag races. Stop pushing for gay marriage. And stop trying to foist ``sensitivity`` off on American schoolchildren. If you want others to stay out of your business you are obliged to do likewise. You can`t have it both ways.
