Travesty of Justice; Gladney Assailants Found Not Guilty

It's official; it is o.k. to beat up conservatives, especially if they are black conservatives.

Two years ago an out of work vendor named Kenneth Gladney was assaulted and brutally beaten at a townhall meeting of congressman Russ Carnahan by union goons from the Service Employees International Union. The beating was caught on film; Gladney was clearly beaten with malice. Now, after two years, the assailants have been brought to trial and, after an abyssmal effort by a novice prosecutor, have been found not guilty!
Of course, the prosecutions were occuring in the bluest of blue areas, and the judge was going on vacation tomorrow so wanted a quick verdict. Personally, I would like to find out who gave the prosecutor the job, and would like to know the prosecutor's political affiliations.
I was at the protest for justice for Mr. Gladney, and shook hands with him. He clearly felt terrible and he left just after my talk with him. He had bad injuries and took a long time to recover, yet the prosecution did not even mention his injuries to the jury. Strange.

So, a black man is supposedly selling Obama in white face (it was the Joker picture) and that justifies beating him senseless. Would it have been justifiable to assault someone from Code Pink with a picture of Bush dressed as Hitler? The Left would have been screaming for blood, yet it is perfectly acceptable for this assault because Kenneth Gladney supposedly had a picture of Obama with a white face.
This is Obama's America; a man is beaten for being black and not liberal. And nobody in the mainstream media (the "third estate" supposedly charged with speaking "truth to power") gives a flying frig.
Nor does the civil rights establishment; Sharpton was asked to step in, and he pretended nothing happened. Seems you are only authentically black if you are a communist.
The defense argued that Gladney made money off this, was a paid member of the Tea Party, and other things. I don't seem to recall that those are grounds to beat somebody senseless. What of the protestors in Madison? Could the Wisconsin governor have justifiably sent in the National Guard to beat them because they were paid by SEIU? Is it now o.k. to beat people for making money? Apparently it is.
We are going to have to investigate the prosecution; was this case thrown intentionally? If not, it is inept beyond all measure and there should be firings. It's time to hold these politically active leftists accountable.
