I'm afraid Karl Rove doesn't get it

He's trying, and for the most part he's right. But consider this: he calls them "kooks." They aren't. They are the logical products of today's educational morass. They have been to public school and, in many cases, college. And they know nothing, because they have been taught nothing. Liberals rule.
I heard Neil Boortz duking it out with one of them -- a political science major -- tonight on my way home from the theater. The kid had a very poor grasp of facts about the things he was "protesting." Wanted the rich and the corporations to start paying "their fair share" (God, how that phrase sets my teeth on edge!). Boortz forced him to answer questions which proved the kid had no idea what the corporate tax rate is, and what tax rates anybody is paying in this country. In short, the kid was grossly uninformed as to what he was protesting.
Abraham Lincoln, who (if I remember correctly) never saw the inside of a school and who educated himself, had a much better education than these kids. And our government has been very happy with this sad state of affairs for years -- no matter which party has been in power.
I myself would love to get into "conversation" with one of these kids about the idea of "corporate greed." I could give him an earful.
