Maureen Dowd, Shrill and Loud
Timothy Birdnow
Ah, the Blue Fairy. Maureen Dowd, queen of the Blue State pixies, sad little girl with a chip on her no longer youthful shoulders, is reduced to hysterical rants. Brian Birdnow discusses her latest kiniption at Townhall. http://townhall.com/columnists/brianbirdnow/2012/04/14/maureen_dowd_blows_her_cool/page/full/
Maureen Dowd has been described as the bellweather of the New York Times, and that she is; an intellectually vacuuous, angry, and unhappy woman, she fast approaching some sort of meltdown - just as the Times is disintegrating financially and psychologically. There is an awful fasscination in observing the death-throes of both the newspaper and the bellweather. It's rather like watching a car crash.
At any rate, be sure to check out Brian's commentary.
