Obama Orders Standdown on OWS

Timothy Birdnow The Obama Admistration issued orders to local law enforcement to stand down in regards to enforcing the law with the Occupy Wall Street protests. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/08/08/gsa-urged-to-stand-down-on-occupy-portland-protests-by-white-house-documents/ From the Fox News article: "Emails from the General Services Administration show that the federal agency, acting on orders from the White House, told federal law enforcement authorities in Portland, Ore., not to enforce curfews on protesters camped out on federal property. JudicialWatch.org obtained the emails through a Freedom of Information Act request lodged last year." End excerpt. Now, the President of the United States is the chief law enforcement officer in the land, and his sworn duty is to uphold the laws of the United States, yet here Mr. Obama is once again simply arrogating to himself the power to decide which laws to enforce. How many laws have Mr. Obama and his cronies broken? He tampered with the Kenyan constitution, enshrining abortion in said document in violation of Federal law (which requires that no American money be used to promote abortion abroad). He, or someone high up in the Obama Justice Department, refused to prosecute the New Black panther party for voter intimidation, despite videotapes of armed thugs turning people away at the polls. He, or his DOJ, violated gun laws, running huge numbers of weapons into Mexico, resulting in countless deaths by Mexican citizens as well as deaths here in the U.S. He refused to obey a court order to resume drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico, and was in fact found in contempt of court. His Attorney General was found in Contempt of Congress, and Obama used his power of Executive Privilege to cover Mr. Holder's tracks - Executive Privilege has nothing to do with domestic programs but rather is intended to shelter advisors on matters of national security. He has presented forged documents to the general public as a legitimate birth certificate (something not exactly illegal since it was not given to authorities but still quite disturbing). The list goes on and on. And the GOP, terrified of having any accusations against Mr. Obama's character boomerang and smite them in the back of their blockish little noggins, refuses to pursue any of these aggriegous acts. Obama is running the White House like Al Capone ran East Cicero Il. but there is no Elliott Ness to trouble him. If Mr. Obama has broken the law - and it should be easy to prove that at some point he or his Administration has - then he needs to be held to account. He is not our king, but rather a public official accountable to the law. Even should Mr. Obama lose the next election Congress should still look at impeaching him and holding his pension, if nothing else. Of course they will not do that; the first Black President is untouchable in the land of political correctness. But that is precisely what is wrong with America, and why the U.S. is in such a terrible state of decline. We have allowed the Left to set the terms of any argument, and our side is terrified of reaping the whirlwind should they violate some sacred taboo imposed by liberal college professors. The academics have become the new priesthood, generating new taboos, new sacraments, new codes of ethics and conduct, and the media, like the Oracle of Delphi, or a quasi-religious version of the Supreme Court, interprets the new code and enforces proper behavior. Our side has gone along with this so long that we no longer think to resist. Political correctness will be the end of America in time. We dare not say the Emperor is Nude, no matter that his nudity is poking out our eyeballs. Those who refuse to face reality will eventually be destroyed by it.
