Americanski Plot

Pravda, the last bastion of Communism outside of American Univesities and the Mainstream Press, is having a fit because they think America is planning to steal Russian oil from Siberia.

It appears they have been reading Birdblog; my
modest proposal that America colonize Siberia may have been a bit too subtle for the Socialist editors at Pravda. (They`re not too SWIFT.)

Considering the immigration problem they face, it may be in Russia`s best interest to make a deal with America to develope their Arctic oil fields; better to sell them to Americans than to lose them to the Chinese.
